Trailer
In a silent routine, save for the echoing of gunshots and explosions, a man accompanied only by his dog dedicates himself to collecting fresh water for his own consumption and that of his neighbors. During one of his upstream journeys, amidst a strong sense of loneliness accentuated by the lengthy tracking shots, he sees a boy surrounded by snow and darkness under a tree on the river bank. This encounter, registered through a dreamlike cinematography, forces the character to examine his own existence defined by two wars. The film premiered at the 2018 Berlin Film Festival.
