​This project by artist Doug Aitken, who did the Sonic Pavilion at Inhotim, is made up of 62 one-minute shorts. Over the course of 24 days, a train crossed the United States, from the Atlantic to the Pacific – four thousand miles. Along the way, artists, musicians and various performers got on and off the train. At each stop, be it a big city or a remote place, shows and unusual cultural events were put on for the local population, such as Beck directing a gospel choir in the Mojave Desert.
