An organization intends to create a malleable, manipulable human being to fit the company’s needs. He is Dorian Gray, young, rich and beautiful, whose life has already been traced: he is to be developed, seduced and destroyed. Meanwhile, Frau Dr. Mabuse, head of an international media empire, conceives of a ruthless plan to further her business. In this film, Ottinger focuses on the power’s mechanics of exclusion and its need to destroy people, in a plot that places mythical Dorian Gray at the center of an international conspiracy.
