Margot is 75 years old and she is one of the greatest Brazilian actresses. She's been married for over 50 years to Antonio, a prizewinning writer in advanced stage Alzheimer's. Every day is a struggle to take care of him meanwhile she tries to finish a movie. But, most importantly, Margot fights to keep their love alive over his memory loss. When she finds out that she also has Alzheimer’s, she must reconnect with their grown-up children to keep her independence and die in peace.
