Luc Besson
Born in Paris in 1959, began to write scripts while a teenager, including the draft of the story which came to the screen as The Fifth Element (1997), one of his most popular films. The filmmaker who has been called "the most Hollywoodian of the French directors", also directed Leon: The Profissional (1994) and Lucy (2014). He was the founder of EuropaCorp, which developed the trilogy Taken (2008–2014) and the series Transporter (2002–).
