Sita is a curious and beautiful girl, full of energy and always searching for answers. She begins a journey of discovery as she starts investigating her family’s dark past during the Second World War. Revelations will lead her to cross the border from new Europe to the old one, from Berlin to Vienna, Warsaw, and lastly Romania. In undoing her old conceptions of her homeland, Sita dives into an adventure of self-discovery which will redefine her identity, responsibilities and hopes. Barbara Albert

Barbara Albert

Born in Vienna, in 1970. She studied drama, German and literature before enrolling at the Vienna Cinema Academy in 1991, to study filmmaking and screenwriting. As a director, she has made features such a Nordrand (1999), Free Radicals (2003) and Falling (2006). She has taken part in two anthology films: State of the Nation: Austria in Six Chapters(2002), six viewpoints on Austria, and Visions of Europe (2004), the Mars episode.
