In an ordinary afternoon, Paul Kromberger randomly finds on the internet a photograph of American opera diva Caterina Fabiani, a woman who looks distressingly like his deceased wife, Evelyn. Soon, his unease about the similarities between the two is transferred to his daughter, Sophie, who, filled with curiosity, decides to cross the Atlantic to meet this stranger. In a first meeting, Caterina seems uninformed about her origins and family relationships. But gradually secrets that have been kept away for decades come to light. From director Margarethe Von Trotta (Hannah Arendt). Berlin 2015.
