Arriving at New York’s JFK airport after a short trip out of state, a woman we know simply as
Girlie strikes up an in-transit conversation with Clark, the cabbie driving her back to her apartment in Manhattan’s Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood. Talkative and tough but generous with his advice and worldview, Clark offers Girlie his take on relationships between men and women, on the changing demographics and landscape of New York… They locate a common ground bringing them both closer to figuring out themselves.

New York playwright who moved to LA in 2017 after her screenplay Daddio ranked on The Black List - annual list highlighting the scripts most highly praised by Hollywood executives and not as yet produced. She co-created Netflix's series I Am Not Okay With This (2020), and wrote the screen adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s It Ends With Us. She made her directorial debut with Daddio.
