The documentary raises the question of the social obliteration of black women's bodies from the personal and artistic experience of 11 black women, who debate identity, collective memory, ancestry, affection and maternity. They establish themselves as political bodies in interviews and performances, materialising their multiple ways of being, existing and resisting, while responding to the question: what is it like being a black woman in Brazil?
