​Irene and Christophe have spent the last ten years as parents of an invisible child. Hugo was only eight when he was seen for the last time, and all the searching was in vain. Christophe went to Mexico and Irène resumed her career as a choir singer, but both remained haunted by the disappearance of their son. When Hugo’s remains are found, they meet again in Montreal. Through their different reactions to grief and anger, they find a new path for their lives. Screened at the Sundance Film Festival and the Panorama section of the Berlin Film Festival 2015.​

François Delisle

​Born in 1967 in Montreal. He studied film at Concordia University. Having directed several experimental shorts, he released his first feature, Ruth, in 1994. It was followed by Happiness is a Sad Song (2002), shown at more than 20 international festivals, You (2007), Twice a Woman (2010) and Meteor (2013), which was shown at the Sundance Film Festival and the Berlin Film Festival.​
