Trailer
In this essay-like documentary, images, sound and music are combined very intensely with a hypnotic incursion into cities such as New York, Moscow and Istanbul. Amongst these is a city destined to remain unknown. There, time both goes by and stays still at once. The camera works like a magnet attracting the ephemeral lights that flash in the windows. Ultimately, it is life that director Jem Cohen (who made Instrument, about the band Fugazi) shows us. A Sunday walk through space and time. Produced by Patti Smith. Berlin Film Festival 2015.
