Adama is a 14-year-old boy who lives with his mother in a small flat in the suburbs of Paris. Even though he is a brilliant student, he has been failing at school since his mind became filled with more urgent issues than those of lessons about English, and French poetry. When Mamadou, his new friend, finds a considerable amount of hash, the friends see a new business opportunity. While he delivers drugs to rich kids in nearby neighborhoods, Adama studies to overcome another challenge: memorize a poem. Critics’ Week, Cannes 2015.
