Trailer

We are in a small apartment on the outskirts of Tokyo that looks more like the cockpit of a plane. Through a series of static plans, we witness the creative process of a hip-hop song. From the writing to the creation of the beat up until the recording itself, the film provides a unique look at the creative process of a group of young Japanese musicians. With a reserved and yet powerful vision, director Sho Miyake gives us a deep appreciation of the art of hip-hop. Cinema du Réel 2015.
