A production of the Centre for Popular Culture (CPC) of the National Students' Union (UNE), with the intention of disseminationg their polítical goals through cinema. This film is one of the initial marks of Cinema Novo. Stories of inequality, work, popular culture and revolt are told through the vision of directors who would become important icons of Brazilian cinema.
