​1974, Sarasota, Florida. Christine is a television news anchor. At the age of 29, she needs to deal with the challenges of being an independent woman during the tumultuous 1970’s. While trying to build a career, she begins to clash with her boss, the network director, who demands that the news include more sensationalized stories, after seeing good results with this type of journalism. Now, to achieve her goals, Christine will have to reassess her deepest doubts. The true story of the reporter who shocked the United States by committing suicide live on national television.
