​A constant topic of national and international news, the Central Prison of Porto Alegre is the subject of this documentary. Here, representatives of judicial, prosecutors and researchers analyze the critical situation of the prison, considered, in 2008, the worst in the country by the House of Representatives Parliamentary Inquiry Committee on the Prison System and a target of human rights violations denounces made to the Organization of American States. In addition to the material filmed by the team, the film features footages taken by the prisoners themselves.​

Tatiana Sager, Renato Dornelles

​Sager: Três Coroas, Rio Grande do Sul. He has a degree in Journalism and in Social Economics. Filmography: Janete - Minha Vida Não É Um Romance (short, 2010) and O Poder Entre As Grades (short, 2014). Dorneles: Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul. He majored in journalism in 1986, he is a police reporter and author of the book Falange Gaúcha. This is their first feature film.​
