Trailer
A documentary on the river that lent its name to the people from Rio de Janeiro. The city’s main water supply for two centuries, the Carioca River was instrumental to the growth of this capital, but it has now been reduced to an underground sewer leading up to the Guanabara Bay. This river’s story is the story of Brazil’s urban development.
