Beatriz and Marcelo are a young Brazilian couple in love, who have just moved to Lisbon, where Marcelo begins work on his second novel. It is about jealousy. He uses his and his wife’s lives as inspiration. Fascinated by the story, Beatriz begins to contribute to the female character. As the book takes shape, the seductive games become more intriguing and dangerous, confronting the couple in their relationship and in life, as Beatriz and Marcelo become characters in and prisoners to the book.
Alberto Graça
He was one of the partners of Zoom Cinematgráfica, and in 1982 founded MPC Filmes. He has produced 13 feature films and more than 50 documentaries for cinema and TV. As a director he made the short documentaries Panamá (1971) and Belo Horizonte (1972), as well as the features Memories of Fear (1981), chosen for the Director’s Fortnight in Cannes, and O dia da caça (2000), shown at several festivals in Brazil and internationally.
