Aya is a young woman who wishes to go to medical school. She lives in Yopougon, a poor community near Adidjan, the riches city in the Ivory Coast. She and her friends enjoy dancing and having fun. They dream of love and wealth. As it happens in many small cities, news in Yopougon travels fast, which can some times cause conflicts. The drawings in this animation replicate in detail the geography, the customs and the local life. It reveals aspects of family and social relations of a people who have had a lot of influence on Brazilian culture. Based on the comics by filmmakers.
