In dictatorial Indonesia, a young man takes care of an empty mansion. His father is in prison, his brother is gone, and his family has worked for the same clan for years. When the owner, General Purna, reappears to run for political office, the young man gets involved and starts defending the man from attacks amid a wave of violence.
