Valerie hasn’t been able to reach her son Simon, a German doctor who’s been living for quite some time in Marseille, France. Worried, she decides to go to that city and asks Jens, Simon’s ex-boyfriend, to help her in that foreign territory. Upon getting there, they find his apartment abandoned. Each clue Valerie and Jens come across leads nowhere. How can someone disappear without a trace like that? How can someone we once thought we knew so well become a total stranger?
