Exploring the magic of pop music, Spanish filmmaker Carlos Saura (Cria Cuervos, A Love Bewitched) enters Argentine folklore in a fascinating journey through the past, present and future of a genre that marked his youth. Saura’s encounter with some of Argentina’s greatest musicians and bands, and with the genre’s rich music, allows us a special view of an art that is as old as the people who created it, therefore creating a cultural record for the future. Here Saura continues his musical exploration, after films such as Tango, Fados and Flamenco, Flamenco.
