Petra Costa
Filmmaker who recounts events interlacing the personal and the polítical. She directed the short Olhos de Ressaca (2009) and the features Elena (2012) and Olmo and the Seagull (2015) — codirected with Leda Glob. The Edge of Democracy, her latest release, was nominated for the Oscar and considered one of the best films of 2019 by The New York Times.
