Eurico Cruz feels irritated as the day dawns. He knows that something is about to happen. Eurico lives by travelling between identical houses, one built in the desert, the other on a tropical beach. In each house, lives one of his wives, Ana and Anna. In this labyrinth of equal spaces, he receives Eleno's disturbing visit. A note, signed by A. announces his death. Who is threatening him? The spaces, the characters, his extreme passions, his hatreds, loves and suspicions get shuffled.
Ruy Guerra
Moçambican, born in 1931, one of the founders of Cinema Novo whose first film, Os Cafajestes (1962), was a box-office trriumph.
