Running away from his aggressive mates, Pelle, a 12 year old boy, hides out in the garden of an eccentric scientist. His is bitten by an ant that has been tempered with in the lab and acquires superpowers. With the aid of friend Wilhelm, he will learn how to use these abilities to fight crime. A specialist in comics and sci-fi, the friend will go as far as making an Antboy suit. Pelle will face several missions and confront his nemesis, SuperFly, the scientist who wants to take revenge on the ones mocking his intelligence.
