The Camargue region, in the South of France is famous for its traditional bull race. Only one woman, 22-year-old Nejma has the courage to enter this exciting competition between men and wild beasts. Bravely provoking and escaping from the bulls, she trains hard wanting to prove herself equal to the boys both in and outside the arena. However her dream of winning collides with the need for safety when news of a rogue and violent bull on the loose terrifies the community. Closing film at Critics' Week Cannes 2024
