Ana's mother has died, she works as a dog-walker in the South Zone of Rio de Janeiro and lives in the outskirts of the city. Her brother is discovering the universe of drag queens, creating tension in their homophobic neighbourhood. Ana has a group of activist friends seeking to support her, including as regards her mental health. The arrival of an old boyfriend stirs up personal tensions and attracts the attention of the armed groups who dominate the region.
Marcus Faustini
Filmmaker and scriptwriter from Rio who focuses on the universe of the city's outskirts. In cinema he premiered Vende-se Esta Moto (2017) winner of the Special Jury Prize of the New Trends section of Rio Int'l Film Festival, and Carnival, Bexiga, Funk and Sombrinha (2006), which gained an Honorable Mention in the Ethnographical Film Festival. He was Municipal Cultural Secretary of Rio de Janeiro and Nova Iguaçu. He is a theatre director, writer and comunicator.
