Created by Marcelo D2, Antonia Pellegrino and Camila Agustini. The saga of two black women from Rio who have their destinies fatally interlaced for evermore during a police raid on Mothers' Day. Rita loses her 11-year-old son, Sushi, victim of police violence, and Edna is the mother of Digão, the policeman who killed the child. Seeking justice and redemption, both will face police corruption and the sluggishness of the judicial system. Rita will count on the support of her older son, Sinistro, who, together with the Maré community, will fight for justice for his brother.
