Marcia wants to change her family’s custom of not talking about the tragedy that happened to them in the past. 35 years ago, a coup d’etat ended her grandfather Salvador Allende’s presidency. Now, she believes it is time to take back the memories and images of his life that were snatched away during the coup. An intimate past is still unknown to her, buried under Allende’s political transcendence, exile and family pain. The meaning of silence kept for decades. Winner of the Golden Eye at Director’s Fortnight 2015.
