Alanis, a young prostitute, lives in a comfortable apartment with her son Dante and a former co-worker, who helps her with the baby when she’s seeing her clients. When two policemen invade the place passing as clients, her roommate is arrested, and Alanis finds herself living in the street, with not even a diaper for Dante. She seeks help from an aunt who, despite disapproving of Alanis’s job, provides shelter for her and her son. However, looking for customers on the streets of her new neighborhood, made up of Dominican workers, proves to be quite dangerous. 2017 Toronto Festival.
