Khalid is struggling to make a film about his city. He looks for an apartment with high ceilings, meets the woman he loved minutes before she leaves him forever, visits his ill mother at the hospital, hugs friends and records images of his son as he says goodbye to a city that very soon will become unrecognizable. In the winter of 2009, Cairo is about to explode, even if no one yet knows it. The malaise turns into uncertainty, while a strange feeling of nostalgia for the future takes over the Tahrir Square. Berlin Festival and Best Director at the BAFICI, 2016.
