The generation of 1992 became a world wide presence in the contemporary art scene when the collector Charles Saatchi launched and promoted the Young British Artists. They were a group of new talented Brits caught up in the wave of Cool Britannia. Alongside names like Damien Hirst, Tracey Emin and Chris Ofili, the fine artist Sarah Lucas conquered the art world through addressing her favorite themes: sex, death and religion.
