In 1974, French artist Philippe Petit walked on an iron tightrope tied between the two towers of the newly inaugurated World Trade Center. After six years of planning, whilst the towers were still being built, Petit managed to pull off the dreamt of - and illegal - feat. In this new film, director Robert Zemeckis (Forrest Gump, Back to the Future) presents us with each detail of the epic: from Petit’s partners to the planning, from the purchase of equipment to the coronation of an improbable hero. With Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Petit.
