Jae-wan, a criminal defense lawyer who has no problem defending murderers and his younger brother Jae-gyu, a morally adept and warm pediatrician meet once a month with their wives for dinner. One day, a security camera footage of a teenage boy and a girl beating a homeless man to death goes viral. The police begin their investigation but since the perpetrators’ were not visible to the camera, the case does not progress. But having seen the footage, Jae-gyu’s and Jae-wan’s wives discover a shocking secret.
Hur Jin-ho
Hur Jin-ho's feature debut Christmas in August (1998) won various best director awards. Since then, he has specialised in the production of traditional romances and attracted the attention of the film industry. He worked in collaboration with the Chinese, making A Season of Good Rain (2009) and Dangerous Liaisons (2012). In 2016 he premiered the box-office success The Last Princess, and in 2021 directed the South-Korean TV series Lost.
