Shot during the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, this documentary tracks a Brazilian journalist who is upset about how his country has been abused by FIFA. The film debunks the conventional wisdom that staging a World Cup delivers sustainable benefits to the population of the host country and reveals the legacy of FIFA: state of the art stadiums that became white elephants just one year after the Cup. The film also compares the same process that happened in South Africa, four years before.
