Alexandra and Sergi live in a small apartment in Barcelona. They decide to have a baby but their plans turn upside down when Alex receives an offer to do an artist’s residency in Los Angeles. Knowing that this could be her last big chance of making it as a photographer, the couple decide to wait and risk a long distance relationship for a year. Separated by 10,000 kilometres they try to keep the relationship alight by communicating daily online, but the technology that brings them closer could destroy their relationship. Opening film at SXSW 2014.
Carlos Marques-Marcet
Nasceu em 1983 na Espanha. Estudou comunicação visual na Universidade Pompeu Fabra, em Barcelona, e fez mestrado na UCLA. Trabalhou muitos anos como montador e, entre 2010 e 2012, dirigiu seis curtas, incluindo I’ll Be Alone (2010), selecionado para o Festival de Pequim, e Yellow Ribbon (2012), que recebeu o Directors Guild of America Student Award. Este é seu primeiro longa-metragem.
