How To Be a Carioca
Many foreigners and visitors to Rio over the decades have enjoyed reading the amusing book “How To Be a Carioca” which has now been turned into a TV series, the first two episodes of which are screened at the Cine Odeon on Tuesday.
Each of the “Gringos” featured in the series experiences the beauty and the chaos of the "wonderful city" in their own way and in the process overcome prejudices, open up to new cultures, adopt different perspectives and help Rio to be more inclusive and less unequal.
